Danny obtained a master’s degree in Financial Management from Vlerick Business School. In 1985 he started his professional career at GIMV as an Investment Analyst, after which he joined Fiduciary Moores Rowland in 1990 as a Consultant. In 1998 he was active at Deloitte, within the Corporate Finance Department, as Director. Danny has been active within VDP since 2000, where he has been active as a Partner since 2002.

Inge obtained a PhD in law from the Faculty of Law of Ghent University (UGent). She was responsible for various teaching assignments in company law, contract law and consumer law.

Inge has been active within VDP since 1999, combining her part-time academic assignments with a legal advisory position within the office. Inge has been active full-time within VDP as a Partner since 2002

Stijn obtained an MSc in Business Economics - Accountancy & Finance at EHSAL Management School. In 1999 he started his professional career at De Belegger as a Financial Analyst, a subsidiary of De Tijd. He was responsible for analyses of the financial markets with regard to investment decisions.

In 2005 Stijn made the move to EY within the Corporate Finance Department. Here he was involved in several mid-market transactions for both private and public companies with an international scope. Stijn has been active within VDP since 2007, and since 2015 as a Partner.

Laurent obtained an MSc Business Engineering – Operations and Technology Management from Ghent University (UGent). In between, he already did an internship at the then listed Private Equity fund Mitiska.

In 2007 he started his professional career at Deloitte as a Consultant, after which he later continued his career at VDP. In 2012, he made the move to KBC Securities within the Corporate Finance Department. Here he was involved in several M&A and ECM transactions.

Laurent worked at Blackfin Capital Partners from 2014-2016 as an Investment Manager, a French private equity fund with a focus on continental Europe. Laurent has been active within VDP as a Partner since 2016.

Since 2022, Laurent is a (guest) professor Corporate Finance at the University of Ghent (UGent).

Chris obtained an MSc Business Economics - Finance from EHSAL, as well as a PBa Marketing from Hogeschool Gent (HOGENT).

In 1991 he started his professional career at KBC Bank. There he grew, after internal management training, to become Office Director. In 2010 he transferred to Het Accountantskantoor where he worked as a Partner until mid-2015.

Chris worked between 2015-2018 as a Partner at Winx Corporate Finance, today known as Dealmakers. Here he was involved in several mid-market transactions, also with an international scope. In 2018 he founded Retearn Corporate Finance, an M&A house that focuses on family-owned Belgian companies. Chris has been active within VDP as a Partner since 2021, after the merger between VDP and Retearn.

Lieven obtained an MSc in Business Economics - Finance at the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven), as well as a PBa in Textile Technology at the Hogeschool Gent (HOGENT). He also followed the Advanced Management Program at the Vlerick Business School.

In 1993 he started his professional career as co-founder of PR Force, an independent PR consultancy that was successfully sold in 2002. He then served as Managing Director and later Country CEO at Citigate Dewe Rogerson and Grayling, respectively. Lieven was project manager for more than 25 ECM transactions (IPOs, SPOs) on Euronext Brussels. Lieven has been active within VDP since 2011.

Nicolas holds an MSc in Business Economics from University-College Brussels (HUB), as well as a second master’s degree Financial Management from Vlerick Business School. In 2013 he started his professional career as Intern at Kempen&Co, after which he joined Degroof Petercam as Equity Research Analyst. Afterwards Nicolas was active at Belfius Corporate Finance as Associate, where he was involved in various capital market transactions (IPOs and share issues). Nicolas has been active within VDP since 2022.

Simon obtained an MSc Business Engineering - Finance from Ghent University (UGent), as well as the CFA curriculum Level 1. In 2017 he started his professional career at EY as a Strategy Consultant. He was responsible for the elaboration of strategic analyses. In 2019 Simon made the move to Retearn Corporate Finance where he was involved in several SME transactions. Simon has been active within VDP since 2020

Renier obtained an MSc in Finance from Regent's University London, as well as a BSc in International Business. After his studies, he already completed an internship at VDP and was a Research Associate at Spectrum Corporate Finance, VDP’s AICA partner located in London. He was involved in several international transactions. Renier has been active within VDP since 2018.

Gilles holds an MSc in Business Economics - Finance from Ghent University (UGent), as well as a second master's degree in Financial Management from Vlerick Business School. In between, he already did an internship at VDP. In 2018 he started his professional career at Baker Tilly as an M&A Associate. He was involved in several SME transactions in the Benelux. Gilles has been active within VDP since 2020.

Joey obtained an MSc in Business Economics - Corporate Finance from the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven), as well as a PBa in International Business Management from Karel de Grote University College (KdG). After his studies he already did an internship at VDP. In the meantime, he also gained relevant experience within a Rotterdam start-up and multinational Yamabiko Europe. He was responsible for strategic marketing. Joey has been active within VDP since 2021.

Leen started her professional career at Cannie Gebr. BVBA as administrative manager. Here she was responsible for all administrative, personnel and accounting matters. At the same time, she combined this job with secretarial work at IVG School. She was responsible for personnel, student and general administration. Leen has been active within VDP since 2020.

Gilles holds an MSc in Business Economics - Finance from Ghent University (UGent), as well as a second master's degree in Financial Management from Vlerick Business School. In between, he already did an internship at VDP. In 2018 he started his professional career at Baker Tilly as an M&A Associate. He was involved in several SME transactions in the Benelux. Gilles has been active within VDP since 2020.

Jonas holds an MSc in Business Economics - Finance from Ghent University (UGent), as well as a second master's degree International Master in Finance from EADA Business School. In 2015 he started his professional career at Squarefield, after which he joined INDEFI as Consultant. Afterwards Jonas was active at the Capital Link as Analyst and moved to Marktlink as Senior Consultant, where he was involved in multiple national and international transactions. Jonas has been active within VDP since 2022.

Olivier obtained an MSc Business Engineering - Finance at Ghent University (UGent). He started his professional career at Candriam Investors Group, where he managed the Belfius Private Banking portfolios and mapped out the investment policy. After this, Olivier moved to a private equity advisor and Family Office where he was involved in several transactions. Olivier has been active within VDP since 2017.

Leo obtained an LLM in law from the Catholic University of Leuven (KU Leuven), as well as a postgraduate program in Business Management from Vlerick Business School.

In 1981 he started his professional career at Deloitte within the Audit Department, where he grew to Senior Partner. In addition to his activity as a company auditor, he was also responsible for the Management Solutions department. Leo has been active since 2011 as a Corporate Finance Expert, advisor, director and member of family councils within a national and international context.

In 2011, Leo was awarded the title of honorary auditor by the Institute of Company Auditors.

Lukas holds a master's degree in law (LL.M.) from the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB). From 2018 to 2022 he worked as a lawyer in the corporate and commercial department of two leading international law firms located in Brussels, where he mainly built up an expertise in mergers and acquisitions, private equity and venture capital (both inbound and cross-border). At the beginning of 2023, Lukas joined VDP as Legal Expert.
