The Heylen Group has expanded its food division with the acquisition of the company PAB.

VDP assisted the shareholders of PAB to successfully complete the acquisition of the company.

PAB

PAB is an established name in the food and retail sector. Most international food brands rely on the regional market and product knowledge of the food broker from Mechelen, which in turn offers the appropriate support to the brands with the aim of maximizing their growth. The customer portfolio includes renowned brands as Tabasco, Kikkoman, Maille, Weight Watchers, Tony’s Chocolonely and Benecol. PAB is seen as a complementary partner to RV Food.

Heylen Group

RV Food, founded in 1959, has grown from a small jam factory to a large company, distributing products from all over the world into the Benelux and France. The company was acquired in 2015 by Johan Steyaert, Gert Van de Water and the Heylen Group. The brand portfolio of pastes, jams, olive oil and tomato preparations includes brands such as Belcampi, Léonce Blanc, Lesieur and Petti.
